"All of your stuff has a great sense of evolution; there are some really cool sounds, and they stick around just long enough to get the point (whatever that may be) across. Your music is also very dramatic, without being flowery or 'busy'. Less is indeed more; I never hear too many layers, and I can rarely see the scaffolding (I hate it when I can pick out an effect or instrument - doh! That's #117 on a JP-8000!) It's definitely not ''ambient'' in the endless-decay-through-a- reverb vein; much more engaging, keeps me interested instead of sleepy. Even the mellower releases (''Principium...'') hold my interest; minimal, yes, but not dull. And not self-indulgent, either - I never get the sense of ''Hey, listen to this cool sound I made! ...And here's another one! Wow, I'm great!''"    — Forrest (SunDummy)

"The Austere-demixed piece ferments with a vitality that is quite extraterrestrial."    — Matt Howarth, Sonic Curiosity

"Austere's "Gold into Lead Demix" starts out embracing the metallic rasp of the cello, then draws it to a softer place where choral voices drone and chant hypnotically as the manipulated cello draws spirals in the background air."    — John, Hypnogogue

"The Austere track takes this cello into the vaporous realms of space, and somehow turns it into a psychedelic wind-tunnel amongst a choir of angelic voices. Amazing...."    — Joe R. on Hypnos Forums

"This is very cool, nice and minimal. This is nice; not as 'guitar' as I was expecting. There are some very vocal-like passages (samples?) in here, angelic in parts (''Obliquorse''); really cool guitar loops on ''Hexed''. You really manage to wring some cool sounds out of your gear . This has a very wide stage, too; it seems murkier than Austere stuff, but wit hout sounding muddy (if that makes sense). And I do love the package. The case pisses me off; you just can't stack it anywhere, and it rolls out of my CD rack. Brilliant! (Remember the Feederz? They had an album with sandpaper on the outside of the sleeve, to destroy your other records. I always thought that was so cool...) Don't worry about folks liking the music less than the package, the music here is very good; 1/2 of you deserve Kudos!"  — Forrest (SunDummy)

"Wonderful music, some very interesting spoken interludes (especially the first one, letting me know I can drive while listening.) I can hear a guitar!! Make more CDs like this one! Nice packaging too."  — Gordon Danis, Esq.
