I, Wink Winkerstein, have decided to allow thirteen children - just
thirteen, mind you, and no more - to receive free copies of all of the
''Music for Séances'' Art*O*Mat CD boxes. These lucky thirteen will have
them handmade and personally sent by me, and will be allowed to hear and
learn all the secrets and magic of my music factory. Then, at the end of
the series, as a special present, all of them will be given a special prize
of music never before heard, never before released, and to never be
released for the rest of their lives! So watch out for the Magic Art*O*Mat
boxes containing the Invisible Talking Board CDs! Thirteen Invisible
Boards have been burned on Invisible CDs, and these thirteen Invisible
Boards have been hidden inside the ordinary wrappings of thirteen ordinary
Art*O*Mat boxes. These thirteen boxes may be anywhere - in any shop in any
street in any town in any country in the world - in which an Art*O*Mat
dispensing machine is kept. And the thirteen lucky finders of these
thirteen Magic Boxes are the only ones that will be allowed to receive free
copies of all the ''Music for Séances'' releases and to hear all the wonder
and magic which resides in each. You can read more about them on my
Winkerstein Wonderama Web-O-Tronic Web site: The Music for Séances: Talking Board series Hand-crafting a Music for Séances box
Good luck to you all, and happy hunting!" (Signed Wink Winkerstein)

The Music for Séances Magic Boards are special invisible (clear) versions of the CD boards, with all artwork on transparencies. One per 50 copies of each release is sent out to a random location, and the lucky person who finds it can contact us with the Magic Word contained therein, and if so will receive free copies of all the releases in the series as they come out!
If you are the lucky person who has found a Magic Board in one of the Art*O*Mat vending machines, congratulations! There is only one per release. Please email the magic word to The Sound-O-Mat studio with your name and mailing address, and you will be sent copies of all of the releases! They will be sent in groups of three or four as they come out.

"The man's dotty!" muttered Grandpa Josephine. "He's briliant!" cried
Grandpa Joe. "He's a magician! Just imagine what will happen now! The
whole world will be searching for those Magic Boxes!" "Oh," said Charlie,
"do you think we will find one, Grandpa Joe?" The very next day, the first Magic Box was found. The finder was a girl called Kat Cannella, and Mr. Bucket's evening newspaper carried a large picture of her on the front page. The picture showed a lovely young lady proudly holding her Invisible CD (which no one could see) while standing in front of her home in Midland, Georgia. The town in which Miss Cannella lived, the newspaper said, had gone wild with excitement over their new heroine. Flags were flying from windows and a parade was being organized in her honor.
"I was so happy when I found the Magic Box," said Miss Canella. "I was visiting the Whitney Museum in New York and couldn't help but buy a piece from the Art*O*Mat machine there. Silly art is my hobby, you know! I bought a piece by a group called Future Guru and learned the magic word - ''dodeca'', which I emailed to Mr. Winkerstein immediately. He wrote back to congratulate me and has already sent me my first batch of ''Music for Séances'' boxes!"A week went by with none of the other magic boxes found. Then one sunny afternoon, the second one was found by a young lad who went by the name Buckshot Jones. All the New York City papers announced him as the second winner, showing him dressed in his favorite cowboy outfit, with a lasso and six-shooter, with his family and friends surrounding him and beaming brightly as he held up the Invisible CD (which no one could see.) A ticker-tape parade was to be held, with him riding on a float that looked like a wild bronco.
"It is very exciting to have found one of the Magic Boards in the Mystery School Ensemble box and learned the secret word ''process''! My girlfriend had been to the Whitney recently and said the Art*O*Mat machine dipensed exactly what each person who used it needed. Little did I know, what I needed was one of Wink Winkerstein's amazing creations! Thank you very much!"It was a very, very long time before the third Magic Board was found. Although living in Seattle, Miss Berkeley Parks, received an MFS box from Took in Detroit, bought there and sent to the Pacific Northwest. When she opened the box, and found the Magic Board, the Mayor of Seattle proclaimed that day "Berkeley Parks Day" and gave her a giant, golden, chocolate-filled key to the city while she stood on the steps of Seattle City Hall, smiling, waving and showing off the Invisible CD (which no one could see.) "I love Ouija boards and so I had to get one of Wink Winkerstein's all the way from Detroit. When I found the Magic Board in the M. Griffin box with the magic word ''hypnos'' I was shocked, although I have a Ouija mouse pad at work, because the computer and I do not seem to sense the same things and often, it's a mystery how I got to where I do. So when it said I should buy a box even if I had to have it sent to Seattle, I did!" Who will find the next Magic Box? Stay tuned as our story continues... |
Thanks for listening.
