Freq. Magnet: Principium Somniferum DVD (2006) A followup DVD+/-R NTSC format video release, which contains custom-designed computer graphics to go with the original CD musick. Contains all the same tracks, etc. as the CD but provides a visual backdrop to enjoy along with the musick, if your DVD player supports the DVD-R or DVD+R (recordable) formats. Please note: the DVD can be purchased in three ways: (1) separately, on its own; (2) with the CD as a combo set; or (3) as an addition to an already purchased Prin. Somn. CD. Please see the Freq. It's nice; not as ''guitar'' as I was expecting. There are some very vocal-like passages (samples?) in here, angelic in parts (''Obliquorse''); really cool guitar loops on ''Hexed''. You really manage to wring some cool sounds out of your gear. This has a very wide stage, too; it seems murkier than Austere stuff, but without sounding muddy (if that makes sense?) And I do love the package: the case pisses me off; you just can't stack it anywhere, and it rolls out of my CD rack. Brilliant!
